Paris Orly Airport Transfers & Taxis
At the airport, the official taxis will be parked on the ranks which are situated close to the arrivals areas at exit L of the south terminal and exit B of the west terminal. The official taxis are easily identifiable by their roof light and licence plate.
The drivers are not permitted to tout for business inside the terminal buildings, so if you are approached by anyone offering a taxi service you should decline and go to the official taxi rank.
In Paris, there are two groups of taxis with different charging scales. The Paris taxis which cover the city and the three adjoining departments, Hautes-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis and Val-de-Marne. These include both Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports.
Suburban taxis operate in four departments surrounding Paris, Essonne, Seine-et-Marne, Val-d’Oise, and Yvelines.
G7 has 120 specially adapted vehicles with ramps for wheelchair users. The drivers are also trained for the assistance of elderly and disabled passengers. For those people with reduced mobility who do not require wheelchair access, there are over 900 low-level estate cars for easier access.
All official taxis must have a meter fitted and the price shown should be the price charged. However, it is wise to ask the driver for an estimated cost of the journey before you get in. You can also ask for a receipt which will show the driver and vehicle details, date and time and start and finish point of the journey.

Private and Shared Transfers
While taxis are useful for relatively short journeys, an alternative for longer trips is a private transfer. You can book and pay in advance online and your driver will be waiting to meet you in the arrivals hall at the airport.
You will be taken to the door of your home or holiday accommodation. If you’ve booked a return journey, you will be picked up at your door and taken directly to the airport. You can choose the type of vehicle to suit you from a standard saloon car to a minibus or, for a little more luxury, an executive car.
For popular destinations around Paris, such as Disneyland, it is possible to book a shared transfer which is a cheaper option. On booking, you will be told where to meet for the vehicle which will usually be a coach or minibus. You might have to wait for other passengers and there may be a number of drop-off points.
